It is finally official. I am... a Tennessean. I have mixed feelings about this. I think I will always remain sentimentally attached to Virginia, and I will more than likely still proudly claim Virginia as my home state.
I must say, there are worse places than Tennessee to belong to, however. And so, thus begins a new chapter.
God alone knows how long I'll be here. And I think I'm glad of that.

I'm glad you are in Tennessee for the moment.
:)
ohhh. I like the last line. I'm sure I will have similar feelings when I change my license plates for the first time. and I haven't visited your blog in a while! (google buzz conveniently makes me lazy) but your new (to me) layout is lovely!!!
I guess we all (well, many of us) are secretly dedicated to the place where we grew up. Though I've done a decent amount of traveling, I still find coming home to my mountains refreshing. However, I still count TN to be a second home. After all, it can claim four years of my life, and it gave me a large part of my "family." :D
